If you've seen my Instagram highlights then you know I have a passion for makeup. Ever since I was younger I've always loved playing around with new makeup looks. I love doing prom/school dance or special occasion makeup! So please don't hesitate to reach out to me on here or Instagram if you want your makeup done.

Since it was a snowday today I decided to experiment with new eyeshadow. I think I may have found my new "everyday look." Let me fill you in on my must haves to get my day to day look. My everyday face only takes about 15 minutes, so it's perfect for my on-the-go girls!

1) Ulta Eye Primer (champagne)

This primer is definitely a must have! I apply this to my eyes with every makeup application. I love it because it already has a shimmer to it (pictured below). So when you go to apply your eyeshadow on top it all blends super nicely. When applying this, I make sure to cover my entire eyelid and a little on my brow bone. I make sure the primer is completely rubbed in before going in with my eyeshadow brush. I don't use much with each application; usually just a little dab of it on my finger. This primer is probably about 2 years old. It's so old that the container it comes in now is not the same as the one in my picture (lol).I will put the link to this primer below. It's only $12 which is pretty reasonable for how well it works. With this primer my eyeshadow looks the same from the time it goes on to the time I take it off.

2) Tarte Shape Tape

This contour concealer is a literal life saver! This product has saved me from having to show off my extremely vain-y under eye. Typically I apply this under my eye with a makeup sponge. Just gently dabbing it until it's fully blended. Then I apply my liquid foundation to my entire face. After my liquid foundation is successfully applied I go back in with my makeup sponge and some of this concealer. It just brightens up my under eyes. I usually think of it as letting the first application of concealer be to cover my veins, while letting the second application be for brightening. This is a great product because there are so many shades of it, just so you are guaranteed to find the perfect shade to match your face. I typically go a shade lighter then my skin tone so it really brightens up my under eyes. The Tarte Shape Tape is $27 from Ulta, and I will link it for you below. It is a little expensive, but I promise you it is worth it! It covers absolutely everything you want hidden. As you may be able to see in the picture above, I had a small blemish right below my eyebrow (towards the inner corner). When applying my makeup I put a little dab of concealer on it, and it took care of that blemish real quick. Not to mention it does last a decent amount of time. My bottle before this lasted me a year and a half.

3) Thrive's brilliant eye brightener

I am obsessed with this product! I started using is about a year ago, and now I'm addicted. I just restocked and got a new one for Christmas. This brightening tool does the job let me tell ya! Whether I'm doing a full face or just some mascara, this brightener always gives me that little pick me up I was looking for. On my lazy days, I'll I even use it as an eyeshadow. It is so convenient! It brings out your eyes and gives you more of a "pop." I apply it to my brow bone and then blend it in with my eyeshadow. After that I'll go in with it on the inner corner of my eye just to brighten it up in there. It just gives you that final touch you're missing in your makeup routine. This product comes in multiple shimmer shades, but my personal favorite is champagne. It is $24 and it is absolutely worth it. My brilliant eye brightener lasted me around 10 months which is really good. I think Thrive offers 10% for first time orders, so hurry up and get yours! Link below.

4) Thrive's liquid lash extensions

I have been looking for the perfect mascara for years, and I finally found one! Honestly, I think all girls can agree...all we want is for our lashes to be puuuurrrfect. I have tried everything. From separating them by a brush to putting on three coats of three different mascaras. Thank gosh those days are over! This mascara has absolutely worked wonders for me. I don't have long lashes to begin with, and the brush on this really brings out my lash lengths fullest potential. My favorite part about this mascara is it's super gentle coming off. I used to dread taking off my makeup when my mascara would just clump up on my lashes. I'd be pulling out lashes just trying to rub off all the excess mascara left on my eyes. Not anymore though! This mascara is amazing. I honestly can't say enough great things about it. It's $24 which is totally worth it because the tube is big. My girls with long lashes, this mascara will have you looking like you just got lash extensions. It really has an amazing effect. Link below!

5) Maybelline Lash Sensational

Last but certainly not least, my lower lash mascara. Ain't nothing wrong with a little drug store makeup! In fact this mascara is the best I've used for my lower lashes. My favorite part about it is it doesn't leave a black smudge under my eye. I think that is my biggest pet peeve. I hate when my mascara ends up all under my eye, and I look like I just go punched. This mascara won't do that, I promise. It's also waterproof. That means it's perfect for those nights you end up impulsively putting on "Marley & Me" knowing you will sob your eyes out (like I do every time.) The brush on this is also really nice, and kinda curves with the shape of your eye. The brush also makes it easy to apply without clumping, it lays on a really smooth coat. This mascara is under $10, and still works wonders. I will put a link below, but I'm sure you can find this gem at any drug store near you.

(Yes, she is super old, as I'm sure you can tell by the rubbed off ink on the tube. Also, I know...your girl needs her nails done desperately!)

Let me let you in on a little secret...

Not a makeup product, but still a must have...knock off brand makeup remover wipes. I am a huge fan of makeup remover wipes. They are so easy. I traded my oil makeup remover and cotton ball in years ago for the wipes. Then shortly after my mom- mom let me in on this little secret, and now I'll share it with you. By the way, yes I did say my mom- mom. She is such a little diva and honestly knows about some trends way before I do. She's the best! Anyway, (sorry I got side tracked) knock off brand makeup remover wipes are more wet than competing brands. By more wet I mean they contain more makeup remover on each wipe. I dread using remover wipes that dry out as soon as you take them out of the packaging. I promise you with the knock off brands this does not happen.Plus not only do they work better but they're also cheaper, and who doesn't love a good bargain?! My favorite brands to use are Target and Walmart's store brands. They are magical! Right now I have Target's brand which is "up & up." Head over to any store and purchase their brand of makeup remover wipes... you won't regret it!
